Thursday, April 6: Saguaro Study (East District)
In the EAST district, meet at the Rincon Mountain Visitor Center (3693 S Old Spanish Trail) at 8 am. This is a very short hike off-trail. We will be collecting data on saguaro arm direction and length.
Wednesday, April 12: Saguaro Study (West District)
In the WEST district, meet at the Red Hills Visitor Center Visitor Center (2700 N Kinney Road) at 8 am. This is a very short hike off-trail. We will be collecting data on saguaro arm direction and length.
Saturday, April 15: Panther Peak Buffelgrass Pull (West District)
This event is in the WEST district (Tucson Mountain Disrtict) from 7 am to 11 am. Please RSVP early with Don Swann, as it will be an extra step to provide directions and other information.
Wednesday, April 19: Saguaro Study (East District)

Saturday, April 22: Fountaingrass Pull (East District)
In the EAST district, meet at the Rincon Mountain Visitor Center (3693 S Old Spanish Trail) at 7 am. We will take a park van to the site and return by 12:30 pm. Space may be limited, so please sign up in advance.
Thursday, April 27: Saguaro Study (West District)
In the WEST district, meet at the Red Hills Visitor Center (2700 N Kinney Road) at 8 am. This is a very short hike off-trail. We will be collecting data on saguaro arm direction and length.
Saturday, April 29: Plant Bioblitz & Invasive Plant Pull (East District)
This event will be happening at the Madrona Pools.This is a chance to learn and help the park botanist collect data on some of the park’s amazing rare plants. Space is limited and expected to fill up, so please RSVP early.
Also, the volunteer group Wilderness Volunteers has a one-week camping trip in the park to remove invasive plants October 19 - November 4. To learn more about this trip and other WV projects around the country, please visit wildernessvolunteers.org.
