Dusky Flycatcher

Size: 5-6”
Description: Mostly gray with a slight yellow tint, a white eye ring and white wing bars.
Migratory Status: Summer residents of Rocky Mountain National Park.
Habitat: Breed in open or bushy habitats of willows, ponderosa pine and aspen forests to 8,500 feet and sometimes to 11,000 feet.
Diet: Eat mostly insects that they catch in mid-air, near foliage or on tree bark.
