Safety Checkpoint in Rocky Mountain National Park During the Holiday Weekend

To promote a safe and enjoyable visit for all, Rocky Mountain National Park rangers will increase law enforcement patrols and conduct a safety checkpoint beginning on Saturday, July 5, within the park.    

The Colorado State Patrol will be conducting a saturation patrol outside the park. The Larimer County Sheriff’s office will also be involved. This coordinated effort between Rocky Mountain National Park and the Colorado State Patrol aims to support public safety during the holiday weekend.
