Schedule a Visit

Rocky Mountain National Park offers offers a variety of ways for you and your students to experience the park. We offer ranger guided field trips, self guided field trip support and a variety of virtual programs for grades K-12. Please review this information in advance. Educational groups coming to Rocky that are organized by an accredited educational institution, whether self guided or ranger guided, may qualify for a waiver of park entrance fees.

Reservations for ranger guided field trips are made on a first come first served basis. Ranger guided field trips are free. We recommend that you contact us at least three months in advance of your desired date for ranger-led programs. To schedule a program for the East Side (access through Estes Park) or the West Side (access through Grand Lake), please e-mail us.

Fee Waivers
To request a fee waiver for a self guided field trip, please visit the educational fee waiver page for the latest information. Fee waivers must be requested at least two weeks prior to the visit.
