Distance Learning

A park ranger shows students a beaver skull
Invite a ranger into your classroom virtually!

Can't get a bus? Live too far away? Weather too cold? You can still explore Rocky Mountain National Park with your students! The Education and Outreach team offers free, interactive distance learning programs that you can participate in virtually using platforms such as Zoom and Google Hangouts. Programs are open to all ages/groups and are offered year round.

Equipment Requirements
To connect with Rocky Mountain National Park you will need a stable internet connection, a web cam, and projector so the entire class can see the ranger on screen.

To schedule a program contact the Education Specialist at 970-586-1338. Be prepared with the following:
  • The program you would like for your group
  • 3 or more preferred program dates
  • 3 or more preferred test call dates (at least 1 week in advance of preferred program date)
  • The age/grade and number of students
