High Angle Rescue

a photo of a high angle rescue
Members of the park's technical rescue team execute a delicate maneuver, lowering a patient strapped securely in a metal basket called a Stokes litter. Rangers are clipped to the litter in order to care for the patient and direct the litter in its precarious descent while rangers above keep the litter and litter attendants belayed.
