Park ClosuresIn the event of a park closure, information will be shared on the park's main phone line (703-221-7181), website, and Facebook page. WeatherPrince William Forest Park is a four-seasons park. Visitors can expect seasonal weather including snow and ice in the winter, heavy rain in the spring and summer, and high temperatures in the summer. Visitors are encouraged to check local weather advisories prior to and during their visit. In cases of inclement weather, the park may close for the safety of visitors and staff. Visitors are advised to check the park's website prior to their visit in the event of a closure. Loading weather forecast... WildlifeAs seaons change, so do the patterns of wildlife. At times, wildlife may be seen throughout the park. Never approach, feed, or harass wildlife. Do not block traffic or park in unauthorized areas to view wildlife. Wild animals will react if they feel threatened and could potentially cause physical harm to people and pets. If you observe unsafe or unusual behavior of wildlife or anyone harassing wildife report it to a park staff member immediately. |
