Ready to get out this summer? Join Point Reyes National Seashore in celebrating our first ever Summer of Service! Volunteers help protect the natural and cultural resources of Point Reyes. In return, they learn how to become stewards of the land while giving back to the park they love. Projects include removing invasive plants to make space for native plants, removing trash from the beach and trails, and helping to restore natural habitats. First and fourth Saturday of the month Saturday, May 27 – Habitat Restoration Saturday, June 3 – National Trails Day Saturday, June 24 – Shoreline Cleanup Saturday, July 1 – Habitat Restoration Saturday, July 22 – Shoreline Cleanup Saturday, August 5 – Habitat Restoration Saturday, August 26 – Shoreline Cleanup Saturday, September 2 – Habitat Restoration Saturday, September 23 – National Public Lands Day No experience necessary! Training and tools will be provided. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring plenty of water. Volunteers of all ages have something to offer and are welcome. Project days can be arranged for school groups, corporate groups, scout groups, and service groups. Drop-ins welcome!
