Join Boston National Historical Park and Boston Public Library to learn how Generals Washington and Lee reviewed the defenses surrounding Boston built by the militia units of New England. While surveying the works on the heights of Roxbury, Gen. Washington was impressed with both the works and knowledge of his guide, Henry Knox.

This program will explore the siege lines of Boston. It will explore a new interactive Siege of Boston Story Map. And the role Henry Knox played in fortifying these siege lines.

This online program, co-presented by The National Park Service, will happen over Zoom webinar. We kindly request that people who are interested in attending please see the REGISTRATION REQUIRED box on this page for more information.
