Please join us for the Fourteenth Annual Point Reyes National Seashore Fungus Fair!

Bear Valley Visitor Center
Attend free lectures in the Bear Valley Visitor Center Auditorium. Learn about fungi and their role in the many Point Reyes habitats, from grasslands to redwoods. See the remarkable colors and shapes of wild mushrooms collected in the park.
Amateur mycologists will be on hand to talk about mushrooms, their role in the environment, and more! Learn more about the Bay Area Mycological Society activities, scientific and educational mission.
For 2019, the following talks are scheduled:
- 11 am "What are Mushrooms Doing in My Forest" by David Rust
- 12:30 pm "Amanitarita's Freaky and Fabulous Fungiquot; by Debbie Viess
- 2 pm "Common Edible Mushrooms of Marin County" by Kingman Bond-Graham

To help reduce traffic congestion in the paved parking lot adjacent to the Bear Valley Visitor Center, please park your vehicle(s) in the gravel, trailhead/picnic area parking lot on the left (east) side of the access road close to the Bear Valley Trailhead.
