Hours of Operation

Self-service gasoline and diesel fuel are available 24 hours, by debit or credit card.

The only service station within park boundaries, on the North Rim, can be found just after turning onto the road to the Campground and the North Rim General Store.

Between October 16, and November 31, when the park is only open for day use, fuel may be available for card purchases, provided park roads are open. The North Rim of the park and State Route 67, from Jacob Lake, are closed for the winter between December 1, and May 14.

The nearest lodging, food services, and fuel that stay open all year are located 45 miles north of the North Rim at Jacob Lake, AZ.

During the season, gasoline and diesel fuel are also available outside the park, on State Route 67, at the North Rim Country Store (on the other side of the SR 67 from Kaibab Lodge and DeMotte Campground), 18 miles (29 km) north of the North Rim Entrance Station.
