In addition to our regular weekly programs, special events and programs will happen throughout the fall and winter. Check out our events calendar to see what may be happening during your visit.
 

August Ranger Programs


Condor Talk
Sunday, 2:00 pm, Meet in the Bear Gulch Day Use Area.
Discover the majesty of these enormous, endangered birds and learn about their incredible comeback. 30 minutes

Evening Program
Saturday, 8:00 pm, Pinnacles Campground Amphitheater
Topics vary; see Visitor Center for a schedule of this week’s programs. 45 minutes (Note: there will not be an evening program on August 31st.)

Star Party
Saturday, August 31, 8:45-10:15 pm, East Pinnacles Visitor Center
Join the San Jose Astronomical Association (SJAA) for an evening of stargazing and telescope viewing in some of the best night skies in central California. See planets, star clusters, and nebulae through SJAA-provided telescopes and discover why “half the park is after dark.” Red flashlights are recommended to help preserve night vision.
