In addition to our regular weekly programs, special events and programs will happen throughout the fall and winter. Check out our events calendar to see what may be happening during your visit.


October 1st - December 17th

Nature Hike
9:00 am, Location varies; check park bulletin boards.
From birds to insects to wildflowers, Pinnacles is rich with biodiversity. Learn about one aspect of that diversity on this ranger-led hike. Bring your binoculars if you have them! 1-1.5 hours

Prewett Point Hike
9:00 am, Meet at the West Visitor Contact Station.
Learn about the unique geology of Pinnacles on this easy wheelchair-accessible hike. 1-1.5 hours

El Regreso del Cóndor
2:00 pm, Meet at the West Visitor Contact Station.
Ven a oír una platica de los cóndores que se encuentran en esta area. Aprende de este pájaro increíble y por que es importante. 30 minutos

Condor Talk
2:00 pm, Meet in the Bear Gulch Day Use Area.
Discover the majesty of these enormous, endangered birds and learn about their incredible comeback. 30 minutes


October 18th - November 22nd

Night Hike
7:00 pm, Location will be provided upon registration.
When the sun goes down at Pinnacles, a new side of the park emerges. Red flashlights recommended. Space is limited. TO GUARANTEE YOUR SPOT, register online at www.pinnaclespartnership.org.


October 1st - December 17th

Ranger on the Trail
2:00-4:00 pm, Balconies Trail and Bear Gulch Reservoir
Ranger’s choice! Join a ranger for an interactive drop-in program about the natural or cultural resources of the park.

Evening Program
7:00 pm, Pinnacles Campground Amphitheater
Topics vary; see Visitor Center for a schedule of this week’s programs.
