Enemies to Allies: PEVI to Signal Hill

Signal Hill National Historic Site- Parks Canada & Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial US NPS

About This Blog

This blog is about the adventures of Ranger Rob as he spends a month at Signal Hill National Historic Site, Sister Park to Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial. It will explore the shared history of both sites including how the United States and Canada/Great Britain went from being enemies 200 hundred years ago in the War of 1812 to becoming the allies we were in World War I & II and still to this day. This blog will probably also include some other adventures not related to the history such as geography and the adventures of a US National Park Service Ranger trying to fit in a different culture and park organization.
