• Preparations are being made to prepare for Hurricane Lane, which is currently a category 4 hurricane projected to pass to the west of Hawaii island Wednesday through Friday. Heavy rains, high surf and strong winds are expected.
• Employees are strongly encouraged to take hurricane precautions at home. For hurricane preparedness information, visit ready.gov or the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency website at www.scd.hawaii.gov.
