Contact: Front Desk, 956-541-2785 x333 With the help of Valerie Schafer from WNPA, the park recently renovated its book sales area. The original design of the book sales area had been in place since the visitor center first opened. While it offered plenty of storage space for back stock items, it was never a true book sales area as the space for displaying items was limited. When Palo Alto recently resurfaced the interior floors of the visitor center, the original cabinetry was taken out and plans were drawn up for a new sales area. After reviewing several options, a final design was agreed upon. The new sales area offers plenty display and storage space and has the flexibility to change its configuration making it possible to stock different kinds of items. The park is in the process of expanding its book title list and putting some new offerings on the shelves. So come on out to Palo Alto and talk a walk around our new sales area, you may just walk out with a surprise or two. |
