Salem, MO– The National Park Service intends to issue a concession prospectus on August 7, 2013, for Canoe and Tube Rentals with Shuttle Service, Ferry Operation, Camp Store and Retail Merchandise, and Firewood Sales at Ozark National Scenic Riverways. The Director, pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51, has determined that the existing Concessioner is a preferred offeror for the contract. The term of the new concession contract will be for ten (10) years. Any proposal, including that of the existing Concessioner, must be received by the Concession Program Manager, National Park Service, Midwest Regional Office, 601 Riverfront Drive, Omaha, Nebraska 68102, in order to be evaluated and considered for award of the concession contract. Proposals are due on November 5, 2013, and must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. (Central Time). There is a printing cost recovery charge of $25 per copy to be delivered via express delivery or $20 per copy if picked up in person at the above address. Checks or money orders (no cash or credit accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service; and you must include an address (no post office box) to receive express delivery package.Prospectus packages will be available by contacting Tracy Simmons, Commercial Services Specialist, Midwest Regional Office, National Park Service, 601 Riverfront Drive, Omaha, Nebraska 68102.
