Eminence, MO: Ozark National Scenic Riverways will host an open house at the Alley Spring Pavilion on Tuesday, September 25, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Please join us to learn about the history of Alley Mill and production of the Cultural Landscape Report and Historic Structure Report for the Alley Spring State Park Historic District, located within the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. Alley Mill will remain open until 7:00 p.m. for the event.Cultural Landscape Reports and Historic Structure Reports provide National Park Service managers with an understanding of the evolution, historical significance, and existing conditions of historic landscapes and buildings within their park properties. These studies provide research and information to foster thoughtful management and preservation. They include recommendations for future treatment of significant landscapes and historic buildings.
Materials related to the Cultural Landscape Report and Historic Structure Report will be displayed for you to view at your own pace. Members of the project team and National Park Service staff will be available to answer questions and record your suggestions for the project.
