mount welby exhibits
Take a look at the exhibits in the Mount Welby farm house for a compelling look into the park's history during the early 1800s. You will learn about the owners of the Mount Welby plantation, the Debutts family; those that lived there in enslavement; and the impact of the War of 1812 from a woman's perspective, Mrs. Debuttts.

Teachers should be aware of the exhibit based education field trip that uses the exhibits in cooridination with pre-site, on-site, and post-site activies that give 4th and 5th graders a hands-on look at life in Maryland in the early 1800s.
