National Park Service seeks tips from the public to help identify those responsible for recent vandalism in San Antonio Missions National Historical Park

SAN ANTONIO, TX – US Park Rangers of San Antonio Missions National Historical Park are seeking information from the public to help identify those responsible for recent vandalism and attempted forced entry into the historic church at Mission San Jose. Park officials report that the incident occurred on June 28, 2023.

Unknown persons attempted to gain entry into the San Jose Church, causing damage to the historic structure. Those responsible also damaged the church’s historic and culturally significant Rose Window.

Information from other visitors is often very helpful to investigators. If you have information that could help identify those responsible for these acts of vandalism, the park asks you to please submit a tip. You don’t have to tell us who you are, but please tell us what you know:
