Construction will impact Mora Road traffic February 12-22

News Release Date: February 2, 2024

Port Angeles, Wash. - Haztech Drilling, under contract with the Federal Highway Administration, will begin geotechnical drilling on Mora Road on February 12, 2024. Traffic will be limited to a single lane and delays will be limited to 10 minutes. Crews expect to complete the drilling by February 22. If extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances delay the work, crews will finish the drilling between February 26 and March 1. 

This drilling will provide important information for the upcoming design of repairs to Mora Road. Check Olympic National Park’s website for future updates: Alerts & Conditions - Olympic National Park (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov)
