Though they’re harder to spot, 31 species of fish have been recorded in the park’s water bodies. One species, the Ocmulgee Shiner, is only found in Georgia. Fishing is permitted on the banks of Walnut Creek, Ocmulgee River, and Clay Pond. A valid state fishing license is required. Fishing is NOT permitted from boardwalks and bridges.
