Obed Adaptive Outdoor Rock-Climbing Program, March 28

WARTBURG, Tennessee - Obed Wild and Scenic River will be conducting an adaptive climbing program on Saturday, March 28, from 10 am to 3 pm ET. The program is designed for people with a limb difference or mobility challenge, with the goal of improving the accessibility of rock climbing for a wider range of visitors.

This free program requires no prior climbing experience. All climbing equipment will be provided, and trained staff and volunteers will be on hand to support participants throughout the day. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. To register or learn more, call the Obed Visitor Center at 423-346-6294.

This program is made possible with grant funds from the National Park Foundation’s Park Ventures Program and with the support of Paradox Sports, a non-profit provider of adaptive climbing programs.

By offering programs like adaptive climbing, Obed Wild and Scenic River continues its commitment to expanding access to outdoor recreation. This event gives participants the chance to try climbing in a supportive environment and experience the excitement of reaching new heights.
