PAGO PAGO, American Samoa—The National Park of American Samoa asks for the public’s help to keep all park areas free of trash and debris. In particular, the park villages’ chiefs have requested that the public adhere to park regulations that prohibit loitering and alcohol consumption at Fagasa Pass and the Lower Sauma Ridge fale and trailhead near Vatia.
Visitors are asked to respect others so that all can enjoy their national park experience. Everyone’s consideration and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
The National Park of American Samoa preserves and protects coral reefs, tropical rainforests, fruit bats, the Samoan culture, and provides for the enjoyment of these for this and future generations.
For more information about the park and related regulations, call 633-7082, email npsa_info@nps.gov, or go to www.nps.gov/npsa.
