PAGO PAGO, American Samoa - The National Park of American Samoa will offer free ranger led Saturday hikes from June through August. Free shuttles will transport hiker's roundtrip from Pago Pago to the trails. All hikes will begin at 8 am and last three-to-five hours. Interested participants are required to sign up in advance.

July 23 World War II Heritage Trail, Gataivai
August 6 Lower Sauma and Pola Island Trails, Vatia
August 20 Tuafanua Trail, Vatia
These hikes provide participants with opportunities to experience their own local national park within lush tropical rainforests with vistas that overlook Tutuila. National park rangers will lead these hikes and share a variety of fun topics about the natural and culture wonders of American Samoa.
