- Be wary of others trying to sell you tickets for National Park sites on the streets. Only buy tickets from a reputable source, such as a site's official visitor center or through trusted websites.

To help protect park resources and ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for everyone, please follow park rules and posted regulations.
- Pets are not allowed inside public buildings, unless a designated assistance animal.
- Please dispose of your garbage in trash containers or take it with you when you leave.
- Bicycles, skateboards and the like are allowed only on designated paths.
- Security checkpoint screening is required for entrance to African Burial Ground National Monument and before boarding the ferry to Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island.
