This summer the National Parks of New York Harbor has 9 interns working through the Youth Internship Program.
These young people are working at various parks - African Burial Ground NM, Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace NHS, Governors Island NM,Statue of Liberty NM, Gateway NRA and NPNH headquarters in various divisions including the GIS department, the Education Department, archives and public affairs- all gaining experience in the different jobs that can be found in the National Park Service.
This blog will highlight their stories of this summer- what they are learning, what they are doing, and all the things they want to share.
