MLIve Grand Rapids Press

The North Country National Scenic Trail is over 4600 miles long with 2000 of those miles available for public use. Portions of the trail are more accessible than others. Some segments of the trail are too narrow for a wheelchair, others are wider and more accessible. For more information about accessibility along the particular segment of the trail that you wish to visit, contact the North Country Trail Association or one of the partners that helps manage the trail.
