Sulphide Glacier/ Mt. Shuksan 7.9.2016

Some steep snow still remains getting to the Notch and consistent snow continues from this point to the Sulphide bivy sites. 3 tent pads are melted out at the lower bivy, as well as the composting toilet, and some running water. Running water is available at the Notch as well, although parties are discourage from camping here (limited space, blue bag requirement, bear can requirement) All parties are encouraged to use bear cans in the Sulphide XC, as there are no other adequate food storage options. The upper toilet is still under snow. Climbers report that that summit pyramid couloir is still about 50% snow covered and all crevasses are still easily navigable at this time.
