Approach route to Eldorado is dry until above the second boulder field. Plenty of water available after this point. Bivi sites available in Eldorado Basin, Rouch Basin, and at the East Ridge bivi sites. Glacier is very crevassed leading up to the flat section of Eldorado Glacier- lots of weaving and stepping over snow bridges required. Glacier is also crumbling at the base, watch out for falling blocks. The East Ridge route is straigtforward- all crevasses can be avoided by scrambling on rock.
The composting toilet has been emptied and is open for use again!
