No water exists from pyramid lake all the way to just before the bench camp at 5900ft. Colonial glacier is down to bare ice so pickets are of little use. Route up pyramid is a mix of rock scrambling and firm snow. Colonial would probably have to be climbed mostly on rock. Did not get a great look at the Neve, but is likely icy and crevassed like all the other glaciers right now.
