Program Description Students engage in hands-on activities to see, hear, smell, and feel things that live in or are found in a park like New River Gorge National River. Students have a variety of experiences associated with using their senses that may include coloring pictures, singing about animals, or listening to a story about parks. Students learn to recognize the National Park Service arrowhead and to understand the park ranger to be a person who cares about parks and who cares about them. Available to schools in: Fayette, Greenbrier, Monroe, Nicholas, Raleigh & Summers counties Grade Level: Kindergarten Program Length: 1 hour Theme New River Gorge National River is a park that belongs to everyone.
