Program Description:
Students learn that the area where a living thing finds food, water, and shelter is its habitat. Students understand that to protect wildlife, we must protect habitat. Students listen to The Salamander Room; they visualize what an animal needs to survive. Students explore habitats using animal puppets and enjoy other participatory activities, which the park ranger has chosen to effectively meet the objectives of the presentation.
