2nd Grade Curriculum: Landforms and New River Gorge

This curriculum will teach students about different types of landforms and how these landforms are formed through weathering, erosion and deposition while using the landforms of the New River Gorge as examples.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. Learn and describe different types of landforms.
  2. Understand the process of weathering and how it shapes landforms. 3. participate in an activity that illustrates the process and effects of erosion. 4. demonstrate the process of weathering, erosion and deposition.
