There are hundreds of books and articles on the Nez Perce people, history, and culture. The Nez Perce National Historic Trail offers a comprehensive annotated bibliography of Nez Perce history and, in particular, the Nez Perce War.

We have some books available for sale at the Nez Perce National Historical Park visitor center/museum in Lapwai, as well as in our virtual bookstore. The park has a research center with a non-lending library for those who would like to do in-depth research on the Nez Perce.
