Operating Hours & Seasons

Natchez National Historical Park sites have differing times of operation.

The Historic Melrose Estate is open everyday of the year except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. The grounds and gardens are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Guided tours of the Melrose mansion are conducted daily at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Until further notice, the Melrose Estate will only be open Saturdays through Wednesdays each week. Guided public tours of the mansion will be given at 10:00 and 11:00 am, 2:00 and 3:00 pm, but the grounds and slave cabin exhibits are open 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Closed Thursday & Friday.

Natchez Visitor Center
The Natchez Visitor Center is open Monday through Saturday 8:30 am until 5:00 p.m and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.. The visitor center is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

The William Johnson House

The William Johnson House is open Saturday through Thursday (closed on Fridays) 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The William Johnson House is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Until further notice, the William Johnson House will only be open on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Closed Tuesday and Saturday.

Fort Rosalie
Fort Rosalie site will open beginning August 3, 2016. The site closes daily at sunset.
