WASHINGTON—The National Park Service (NPS) is offering a long-term lease opportunity for the East Potomac Tennis Center. The NPS is seeking an operator that will continue to attract an array of tennis center visitors and serve the surrounding community. Potential operators are invited to submit their proposals through July 5.
The tennis center, located in the National Mall and Memorial Parks’ East Potomac Park, is a popular, conveniently located destination and has views of the Washington Monument, Washington Channel and East Potomac Golf Course. Indoor climate-controlled and outdoor courts allow for year-round play opportunities. An office, with attached restrooms and locker rooms, is also on site. Ample parking is available, adjacent to the tennis center and along Ohio Drive.
This lease opportunity is open to all interested persons and businesses on a competitive basis. The proposal judged best under selection criteria will be given an opportunity to negotiate a final lease agreeable to both the selected offeror and NPS.
