Ansonia Brass and Copper Company
Made for The Delaware & Hudson Railroad
1910 – 1930

Railroads originally used brass tags to keep track of passenger baggage. One tag would be affixed to the bag put on the train, while the other tag would be given to the owner. Tags typically included the name of the railroad, an identification number, and the company who produced the tag.
