Not only does Moores Creek have our regular Junior Ranger booklet, we also have two additional booklets available! We have a new booklet, a "Women of the American Revolution" booklet, which highlights the important role that women played in the American Revolution. Moores Creek has also officially unveiled its new "First Southern Campaign of the American Revolution" Junior Ranger booklet! This booklet is a joint booklet with Fort Sumter/Fort Moultrie National Historical Park. Come to Moores Creek and finish the North Carolina section and earn half a patch. Travel to Fort Sumter/Fort Moultrie and earn the South Carolina portion of the patch. Put the two pieces together and you have the full "First Southern Campaign" Junior Ranger patch! Want to complete all three booklets at Moores Creek? If you complete all three, you can earn a special Master Junior Ranger badge! Want to earn your Junior Ranger badge from home? Learn about our Virtual Junior Ranger program! National Parks with Junior Ranger Programs: Many National Parks offer visitors the opportunity to join the National Park Service family as Junior Rangers. Interested students complete a series of activities during their park visit, share their answers with a park ranger, and receive an official Moores Creek National Battlefield Junior Ranger badge and patch. |
