Interested in working with the park?

Beginning this September, Moores Creek National Battlefield will be hosting a Community Volunteer Ambassador (CVA) through the National Park Service's partnership with Conservation Legacy and AmeriCorps. This program provides individuals with service and career opportunities to strengthen communities and preserve our natural and cultural resources. The CVA at Moores Creek National Battlefield will work with the Interpretation and Visitor Services Division to grow our volunteer program and create opportunities for community members to get involved at the park.

Upon program completion participants receive Public Lands Corps Hiring Authority which means that they have special hiring eligibility for National Park Service and other federal permanent positions.

You can find a full description of the position here at Moores Creek National Battlefield on the Conservation Legacy Website. Application form requires a resume, cover letter and professional references.

For more information about the CVA program visit: Community Volunteer Ambassadors (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov).

To apply, please visit this page on the Conservation Legacy website.

The deadline to apply is June 13, 2025.

If you have any questions, reach out to Steven Roberts, America250 Ranger, at Steven_Roberts@nps.gov.
