National Park ServiceNews Release For Immediate Release –July 31, 2015 Monarch Butterfly Volunteer Tagging Event Rimrock, AZ –Montezuma Well, part of Montezuma Castle National Monument The Southwest Monarch Study and the National Park Service would like to invite the public to sign up for a unique volunteer experience!On Saturday, August 22, at 8:00am-10:30am at Montezuma Well, we will be catching, tagging, and releasing Monarch Butterflies so we can learn more about these delicate creatures. We are looking for volunteers ages 14 &older to help us!The morning will consist of a short tagging lesson followed by some guided tagging in the field.We are only taking a limited number of volunteers.To sign up, please call the Montezuma Castle Visitor Center at 928-567-3322 x 221.
