Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments to Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day with Fee Free Entry Camp Verde, AZ – Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments will be joining national park units across the country in celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day with fee free entry into the monuments. This year, the fee free designation will apply on Monday, January 20, 2014. Visitors who arrive on the 20th will be allowed to enter the monuments free of charge. Visitors are reminded that the fee-free designation only applies to entrance fees and does not affect fees for camping, reservations, tours, or use of concessions at those parks where these activities exist. Both the Montezuma Castle Visitor Center and the Tuzigoot Visitor Center will have Interagency Senior and Annual Passes available for those who wish to purchase them. Fee free days for 2014 have been announced and include: February 15 – 17 (Presidents Day weekend), April 19 – 20 (National Parks Week's opening weekend), August 25 (National Park Service's 98th birthday), September 27 (National Public Lands Day) and November 11 (Veterans Day).
