The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial is part of National Mall and Memorial Parks. The memorial is located at the intersection of Independence Avenue and West Basin Drive SW in Washington, DC, near the Tidal Basin and other iconic memorials along the National Mall.
Washington, DC is a very busy metropolitan area. Parking is at a premium throughout the entire city. The memorial is about a 15-20-minute walk along Independence Avenue from the Smithsonian Metro Station.
