The National Park Service serves as steward to the sacred landscape and ancestral sites protected within Mesa Verde National Park. We are honored to help facilitate visits to ancestral sites within the park for Pueblos and Tribes Associated with the park.

Park entrance fees are waived for members of Pueblos and Tribes Associated with the park making cultural visits to Mesa Verde.

How to Schedule a Visit:

If you are a member of a Pueblos and Tribes Associated with the park and would like to organize a visit, e-mail us with "Cultural Visit" in the subject line. Please contact us with as much advance notice as possible to ensure staffing to help facilitate your visit and include the following information:
  • Name and preferred contact (ie. email address, phone number)
  • Your affiliated Pueblo or Tribe
  • Type of group (ie. school, government, family)
  • Purpose of visit
  • Date of visit
  • Number of people in group
  • Specific requests for visit
  • Is everyone in your group capable of hiking steep trails with uneven steps and climbing ladders?
