Cultural Dances and Demonstrations

Three Pueblo dancers dressed in regalia, including bison headdresses, bows and arrows, and shell necklaces, stand on a sandstone outcrop with a canyon behind them
Mesa Verde National Park is privileged to host cultural dances, performances, and demonstrations by members of many of the Pueblos and Tribes with connections to Mesa Verde. These special events help connect park visitors to the living cultures of Native Americans and help maintain important cultural connections between Native people and this sacred landscape.

Check this page, and the Calendar, for a schedule of upcoming events.

Dance Performances
All performances are held at the Morefield Campground Amphitheater, from 7-8:30 pm, and are free with park pass or entrance fee.

Please check back for more information about dances and cultural demonstrations scheduled for 2023.
