Call Bell Restoration

The working lives of the domestic servants at Lindenwald were busy, to say the least. They worked at least ten hours a day, usually more, and rarely had an entire day to spend off the property. When they were in the home, the domestics were literally on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as attested to by an elaborate system of call bells throughout Lindenwald. To see how the call bell system was recreated in the home we have a 15 minute video of the restoration.
