Many places in the Tri-Cities region act as a double-sided mirror, reflecting life both during and after the Manhattan Project. The Richland Players Theater is a good example of this. The building started as a movie theater for Richland, one of the Project’s secret communities. Today, the building houses a community theater group that hails back to the Manhattan Project. The list below highlights sites in the Tri-Cities region, like the theater, that explore how the Manhattan Project shaped life well after 1945.
