11:00 a.m. Sharpshooters at the Deep Cut:

Join a park ranger for a walk at the site of the largest Federak attack during the Second Battle of Manassas. In particular, the ranger will tell the story of the sharpshooters who drew Confederate fire allowing the attack time to come together. This program will be up to a mile over rough and rocky terrain with little to no shade. Meet at the Deep Cut parking lot. The tour will last 90 minutes.

1:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Brawner Farm Walking Tour:

Learn about the Second Battle of Manassas on the ground where it took place. A park ranger or volunteer will take you to the landmarks of Brawner Farm and decribe the events of August 28th-30th, 1862. This tour is roughly a 1/3 of a mile over hilly terrain and lasts 45 minutes. Meet at the Brawner Farmhouse.

2:00 p.m. Deep Cut Walking Tour:

Join park staff for a guided hike on the ground where the largest Federal attack of Second Manassas was fought on the afternoon of August 30, 1862. Note: This tour is over open ground that is steep and rocky and rooty. Round trip is a little over a mile and the tour will last 1 hour.

4:00 p.m. Chinn Ridge Walking Tour:

Join a ranger to learn more about the climactic fight of Second Manassas fought on that ground in 1862 as the Federal Army attempted to stave off complete disaster. Meet at the Chinn Ridge parking lot. This tour is largely accessible and will be on a sunny, but paved surface. The tour route is about 1/2 mile and will last 45 minutes.


6:30 p.m. "All seemed to be lost": the Fight for Henry Hill:

Join a ranger on a program about the closing action of the Second Battle of Manassas on the evening of August 30th, 1862. This program is less than a mile walk over both paved and rough surfaces. Meet at the front doors of the Henry Hill Visitor Center. The tour will last 90 minutes.
