The most sacred date on the calendar at Manassas, other than the four battle anniversary days, is Memorial Day. Join Manassas National Battlefield Park on Monday, 29 May, as we honor the sacrifice of soldiers past and present.

45-Minute Tour begins behind the Henry Hill Visitor Center

Wreath laying at the New York Monuments
Program takes place at Tour Stop #9, New York Monuments

2:00 PM
Ceremony at the Patriots Monument on Henry Hill, featuring music from the 8th Regiment Green Machine Band. The ceremony will feature remarks, songs, and poetry from the original dedications of the monuments 158 years ago by active-duty Civil War soldiers in 1865.
Meet at Henry Hill Visitor Center

3:00 PM
Join a park ranger for a special program on the history of the memorialization and creation of Manassas National Battlefield Park.
Tour begins behind the Henry Hill Visitor Center
