ATLANTA--The Martin Luther King, Jr., National Historical Park and its partnering organization, the Greening Youth Foundation, will host the 12th annual Legacy Campout on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Students from across the Metro Atlanta area are invited to participate in the 2022 Legacy Campout. Join us for a fun-filled night of camping under the stars featuring delicious food, painting on the lawn, music, and games with many great prizes and takeaways!The 2022 Legacy Campout celebrates the 41st anniversary of the establishment of Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, one of the our signature events. We are proud to have partnered with Greening Youth Foundation over the past 12 years to provide opportunities for youth to experience the outdoors in an innovative way. This amazing camping experience is open to youth througout the Metro Atlanta area.
This year, there are 60 spots available for on-site campers and 20 spots for virtual campers. The available spots are likely to be filled quickly, therefore, students are encouraged to register early. This free event is catered to students ages 11-17 and registrations can be made on our website at www.gyfoundation.org/legacycampout.
