ATLANTA - Superintendent Judy Forte of Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park is excited to announce the 2022 Black History Month schedule for virtual programs, offered to organized groups. Superintendent Forte stated that, “As we celebrate this year’s theme, “Black Health and wellness,” we are embracing the courageous leaderships of Black Americans who contributed so much to the modern American Civil Rights Movement and to the financial health and wellness of the Sweet Auburn Business Community of Atlanta, Georgia.”
Virtual Programs for Organized Groups:
Mondays - Fridays, offered between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Schedule your group for a 45 minute to one-hour presentation with Park Rangers, who virtually share special places in Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life, from childhood to adult.
Target audience: All age groups.
This program is free and requires a reservation.
The organization must provide the virtual platform via Zoom, Teams, WebEx… to invite National Park Service as a co-host.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00 AM – 10:50 AM - Black culture folklore presented by professional storytellers, Mama Koku and Arkbar Imhotep, followed by a virtual ranger tour of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Birth Home.
Target audience: Grades K- 4.
This program is free and available on a first-come, first serve basis.
